THE “LIVING TOGETHER” WORKSHOP FOR PROFESSIONALS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD
Join a great inter-religious experience! As part of the 17th edition of the Religion Today Film Festival, from 15 to 18 October 2014 a “living together” workshop will be held in Trento (Italy) for professionals and experts coming from different faiths and nationalities.
Directors of films in competition, experts, producers and distributors from all over the world will have the chance to work together and spend time getting to know each other, exchanging ideas on this year’s theme: “CHANGE! Religions and Society” and discussing the urgent question: how cinema and religions can contribute to a culture of dialogue and peace?
A unique opportunity to take a closer look at religious cinema in the spirit of “celebrating our differences”.
The workshop will include screenings and work groups at:

It will be possibile to present a film or a clip, to be screened and discussed with the other group members if arranged in advance with the organizers.
Moments of reflection and public screenings will alternate with shared mealtimes and guided tours of important historic, artistic and spiritual sites of the city.
The workshop will end on Saturday 18 October 2014 with the Prize Ceremony of the 17th Religion Today Film Festival.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
There are 20 places available. Due to space restrictions, only 1 representative from each company will be eligible to participate. The first 20 applications will be accepted.
To attend the workshop a contribution of € 200 will be asked upon registration to the partial coverage of accommodation expenses, including 5 nights stay (14-18 October 2014) and meals (drinks excluded).
For those filmmakers whose films have been entered into the 2014 competition, a contribution of only € 125 will be asked (2 free nights).
Flight expenses are not included.
