In the library at the prison in Bologna, a group of Muslim inmates is taking part in a course about the Italian Constitution that has been organized by teachers and volunteers. Samad, a young Arab almost at the end of his prison sentence, takes part in the project in order to give his contribution to the debate on an ideal dustur (constitution). A journey inside and outside the prison, to show the illusion and hope of different people who dreamt, and continue to dream, of a “fairer world.”
